As the summer heat warms our valley, Naramata is bringing seasonal tunes with it thanks to plenty of live music events happening.
Enjoy the return of live music and supporting local musicians when you visit one of the many wineries, breweries, and other businesses this season. Great wine pairs with cheeses and charcuterie of course, but also with twangy blues and soulful melodies.
Curious about where to go? We’ve got you covered with a round-up of exceptional live music happening all down the Bench. Read on and discover your next event…

But first, where did this love of live music come from? Well, at the end of June, our team had the privilege to attend Little Engine’s Rosé Day Party, which included a remarkable performance by Mandy Cole. At the start of her set, as we all settled in to enjoy a welcome glass of rosé, Cole thanked the winery for hosting an evening that featured a local musician.
She reminded us about how important it is to support local artists, just the same as it is important to support the local wine industry.
Her words resonated along with the beautiful melodies of both well-known and original songs. As the sun started to set behind Summerland and rain clouds pressed further closer, all of us in attendance enjoyed a magical evening of intimacy that only comes from in-person performances. When the sky opened up and a deluge of rainfall cooled off the evening heat, Cole continued to strum her guitar and serenade us into the late hours.
It was a remarkable early summer experience. But if you missed it, don’t worry, they have another musical evening coming up on Friday, July 25th, with Gord McLaren. You can reserve your tickets here.
