We’ve sourced some incredible options for your next couple’s night out with a mix of indoor and outdoor options, all the way from north to south. Thankfully, at this time of year, the weather’s warming up, the sun’s soft and shining, and the skies light up as soon as our valley settles at night. All you need is that someone special.

1. Starlight Drive-In Theatre in Enderby
Nothing brings back retro romance quite like Enderby’s iconic Startlight Drive-in Theatre! Experience that old-school loverboy vibes with endless blankets, a star-lit sky, and cozy snacks while you hunker down for a big screen film all wrapped up in each other’s arms. 2. BNA Brewing & Bowling in Vernon or Kelowna
For a modern, fun atmosphere full of brewskies, bowling, and arcade games, you have to check out BNA! They’ve got locations in both Vernon and Kelowna, but don’t worry South Okanagan, word on the street is that Penticton’s getting a branch later this summer… Serving up a prime date night location with an interior aesthetic that’s all speak-easy vibes, they also have delicious cocktails and a menu that keeps you coming back for more.

4. Penticton Farmer’s Market
For a lil’ Saturday morning magic skip on down to Penticton’s waterfront where you can purchase a coffee and wander among our valley’s incredible talent thanks to the weekly Farmer’s Market! Artisans selling craft goods, farmers sharing the freshest produce, and all layered with an overwhelmingly cozy community vibe, you and your honey can enjoy a quiet and leisurely start to your weekend!

5. Sun N Sup Kayak Rentals in Naramata
The water might be cold but the weather sure ain’t, so get out on the lake! Thankfully Naramata’s got the hookup on kayak rentals ideal for a date day with Sun N’ Sup. Enjoy a mid-morning paddle out on the calm waters or a slow evening aquatic exploration next time you find yourself at this town at the end of the road. For those who can brave the threat of a plunge, they also rent out plenty of paddleboards!

6. Tickleberry’s Ice Cream in Okanagan Falls
The sun’s warming up our valley which means the best dates include a cool sweet treat at the beloved Tickleberry’s! With a truly staggering display of hard ice cream options—and a handful of house-made flavours—you can get lost in their collection of kitschy and fun decor, in-house fudge, and top it all off with a waffle cone enjoyed outside at one of their many picnic tables.

7. Stargazing at Anarchist Mountain Lookout in Osoyoos
Bring yourself a bottle of wine and a picnic blanket and head up to Anarchist Mountain Lookout for a date night that’s as dreamy as the skies above! For one of Canada’s best spots to observe our galaxy you can settle in with stunning, panoramic views of Osoyoos Lake all before the sun slips beneath the horizon and stars light up the night. It doesn’t get more romantic than this!
